In the school term 2022-2023, Elite Game Changer Alternative Safe School provided a critical intervention for over 170 students hailing from 16 Peoria Public Schools and 2 Charter Schools, spanning grades 6 to 9.
These students often face suspension or expulsion due to aggressive or egregious behavior, but Elite offers a lifeline for their education. Here, certified teachers collaborate closely with the dedicated Elite Game Changer staff, leveraging state-approved educational platforms to achieve a remarkable transformation.

- Elite Game Changer Safe School was certified in Feb 2022 by the Illinois State Board of Education. Our unique 12-step process includes year-round, weekly case management that follows students throughout their schooling.
- Certified teachers working alongside Elite Game Changer staff utilize educational platforms to raise student GPA scores from 1.0 on arrivial, to over 2.5 upon returinging to their home schools.
- The Game Changer Safe School has served 170+ students in grades 6–9 for an average of 6 weeks.
- Disciplinary referrals were reduced by 99% for major offenses.
- 72% of students had improved attendance.
- 75% of Game Changer students increased their NWEA scores in Math and Reading.
