Talented volunteers from all walks of life are the lifeblood of ELITE. Our High School volunteer teams work directly with the students during weekly class sessions. Volunteers serve as mentors and role models and encourage the ELITE participants to dream big!
Our volunteers are also “cheerleaders” for our students. They help provide encouragement and practical skills. They are adults who take the time to really listen and care. They are positive role models with valuable life experiences.
I love seeing the exciting paths that Elite students create for themselves and I enjoy guiding them along the way.
I am very honored to have been given the opportunity to participate in the Elite program by helping students prepare for their careers through resume building and mock interviews. I’m excited to see the students pursue their passions post high school.
