For rising 9th graders at risk of not graduating, Elite offers the WINNING Summer School Program—
free of charge and designed to give students a fresh start before high school.
Without this program, many would not have graduated. With it, they entered high school prepared and supported.
The strength of Safe School lies in our Game Changers. For middle school students, a Game Changer begins as a mentor—someone steady, encouraging, and supportive who guides them through challenges with patience and care.
But what makes a Game Changer unique is that they are also a credible messenger. Having faced and overcome their own struggles, they carry the authenticity and credibility to show students that change is possible.

Every Thanksgiving, Elite partners with RC Outfitters and ShaZam Racing to host the Chocolate Turkey 3-Mile Run/Walk on the Peoria Riverfront. This community event raises critical funds for the Safe School while bringing families, educators, and neighbors together in holiday spirit.
